It is my deep honour and great privilege to welcome you to Theatre Direct’s Golden Anniversary Season. I am so proud to lead you through this epic celebration of our legendary company. 

We’ll start things off by revelling in the wonder of Pareidoila – an international production that will take your imagination to new heights. 

Then we’ll pull away the curtain at Guardians of the Gods – our Dora award nominated production that uncovers perspectives from kids all over the world about how it really feels to be living in a world ruled by adults. (*and don’t miss this rare opportunity to see me in my most happy place – performing!)

Next, we’ll get our raccoon on, and sing our way along the West Toronto Railpath alongside a chorus of critters accompanied by a band of travelling musicians. Let us bring the warmth this winter at the World Premiere of A Raccoon Solstice!

In the New Year, our archives will come alive in a commemorative exhibition to mark this milestone year – replete with performances, puppets, projections, prompts and of course, a party! Stay tuned for a special media announcement about this touchstone event.

Finally we’ll talk periods in a wacky wonderful way where anything goes in A Period Piece. You don’t want to miss this bloody good show for all genders that is nothing short of revolutionary.
