Talented Bharatanatyam and Bollywood dancer Sanskruti Marathe and Creation Warehouse Associate Producer, storyteller and playwright Jackson Nair lead our January PA Days, filled with exciting rhythm, exhilarating dance and joyful storytelling.

Presenting the arts and culture of South Asia, children will interpret a classic story through acting and with dramatic flair.Bollywood and Bharatanatyam music will inspire the children to find their own inner dancer, introducing them to the gestures, footwork, and movement that make South Asian dance so spectacular!

We’re delighted to also offer an exciting after care session to immediately follow the PA Day workshop. Theatre artist Liza Balkan and composer Njo Kong Kie are creating a new opera based on a very old tale about a child’s beloved doll that has suddenly disappeared – and the doll’s travels  to places near and far.

The artists are looking for your help with this story!

Where might the doll travel? What do they experience? If YOU were able to travel all over, where would you go?!

This after care session will be filled with games and drawing and singing and sharing!
