After The Beepoffers teenagers the opportunity to explore writing for theatre and original creation. All levels of experience are welcome.
Over the course of eight weekly after school sessions, participants will engage in improvisation, writing exercises and ensemble-building theatre games to create characters and then write, perform and record original voicemail monologues. Edited sound creations will be shared via a public installation in December 2022.
Participants will receive snacks and an honorarium for participation.
The program is by application and participants are selected on a first-come-first serve basis until capacity is reached. Applications are now closed. For information about future sessions, please contact Madeleine at madeleine@theatredirect.ca.
